Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver specialized in fuel transportation to join our team. This role involves safely operating a dedicated commercial vehicle and B-train to deliver fuel efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, vehicle maintenance, and B-train tanker operation. Duties
- Safely operate fuel delivery truck and b-train across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload fuel using appropriate equipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards
- Manage freight documentation accurately and maintain detailed logs of deliveries
- Perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting to ensure vehicle functionality
- Operate B-train for loading, unloading, or maintenance tasks
- Coordinate with dispatchers to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Ensure secure handling of hazardous materials in compliance with industry regulations
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience with freight transportation, especially fuel delivery
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous materials and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to manage freight documentation accurately and efficiently
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning software is a plus (GeoTab)
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members
- Fluent in French and English (preferred)
Requirements
- Clean Driving Record
- TDG Certification
- WHIMIS Certification
- Active Valero Levis, Valero Miramichi, and Belledune Plant completed training and access (preferred)
- Access to phone or tablet for electronic/GeoTab log use

Pay: $30.00 per hour
