Job Title: PM Dispatcher – Seasonal (May–October)
Location: Vancouver Office (On-site)
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Full-time, includes weekends)
Wage: $22–23/hour (depending on experience)
We are looking for a calm-under-pressure PM Customer Service Representative to own our afternoon and evening operations and customer communication. You will be the central nervous system of the PM shift—handling guest inquiries, reviews, last-minute bookings, route scheduling, administrative tasks, and tour supplies preparation.
Guest Inquiries & Bookings:
- Answer guest questions regarding tours, pickups, lost items, or future bookings
- Process last-minute and next-day bookings over the phone or via email/booking system
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy
Guest Drops & Coordination:
- Maintain live contact with guides and drivers during evening guest drop-offs
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure guests are dropped at correct hotels/locations on time
Route Scheduling:
- Coordinate with dispatch and drivers to plan for hotel drop-offs at the end of the tour
- Complete guest pickup confirmations for the following day
- Adjust routes based on booking volumes and guest locations
Administrative & Review Management:
- Update manifests
- Log any incidents, delays, or guest concerns
- Answer guest reviews with professional, on-brand responses
Tour Supplies Preparation & Close of Day:
- Restock tour bins and coaches
- Secure office and ensure all coaches are accounted for
- Hand off any unresolved issues to the Morning Dispatcher
What We're Looking For:
- Available to start work at 2:00 PM daily and work through 10:30 PM (includes weekends)
- Comfortable with software like Ventrata, booking systems, and Samsara
- Strong written and verbal communication for guest texts, emails, and phone calls
- Experience responding to online reviews (TripAdvisor, Google, etc.) is a plus
- Calm under pressure (delays, upset guests, missed drop-offs, last-minute changes)
- Previous dispatch, tour operations, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus
- Local knowledge of Vancouver (hotels, ferry terminals) preferred
