The Opportunity:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and reliable Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team for a temporary locum contract to cover an upcoming medical/maternity leave. This position offers excellent stability and a guaranteed schedule for the duration of the term, with the potential for ongoing casual or permanent shifts in the future.

Schedule:
- Tuesdays & Thursdays: 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Great for sleeping in!)
- Fridays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Perk: We are strictly closed on all long weekend Saturdays! Enjoy your long weekends fully with family and friends.
What We Offer:
- Clear, Merit-Based Compensation:
Senior RDH (Advanced Scope): $65.00+ / hour (Reserved for candidates with 5+ years experience, local anesthesia certification, independent treatment planning capabilities, and high clinical autonomy).
General RDH Entry Rate: From $55.00 / hour (For newer clinicians or those requiring team onboarding/mentorship).

- Pacing peace of mind: We value quality care. We offer standard 60-minute recare intervals and 90 minutes new patients appointments so you never feel rushed.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional individualized dental hygiene care and patient education.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and periodontal assessments.
- Take accurate digital X-rays and maintain meticulous electronic patient charts.
- Collaborate closely with the dentist to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, sterilized, and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid registration and in good standing with the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta (CRDHA).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
