Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens has a full-service restaurant offering take-out, delivery and dining between 9 am-6 pm, 7 days per week. We are known for our broasted chicken and potatoes, so experience with broasters is an asset. We handle high volume orders in a fast-paced environment.
JOB SUMMARY
Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Line Cook/Prep Cook join our team and support the smooth operation of our restaurant.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Safe operation of machinery for grilling, broasting, and frying foods
· Assist with food preparation tasks
· Maintain quality standards, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation etc.
· Clean and maintain food preparation equipment, work areas, counters, and tables and ensure the sanitation and cleanliness comply with health and safety regulations
· Add to our positive, collaborative and healthy work environment
Other duties as required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience in a high-paced kitchen is a must
· Food handler certified
· Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and materials
· Strong organizational skills are essential
· Team player with excellent communication skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Full-time, stable position
· Competitive wage based on experience
· This role requires working in a warm kitchen environment, lifting and handling items up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended period of time
