Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties
- align, dismantle, and move heavy machinery and equipment according to specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques, then execute repairs efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to facilitate installation and repairs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machinery performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all tasks.
- Assist in the training of junior team members on proper maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar mechanical maintenance role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues effectively.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces safely.
- Valid certification or license as a Millwright is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
