Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies to maintain optimal oral health.
- Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alberta
- Desirable experience with dental office management software Dentrix.
- Experience working in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry environments is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for patient education and care delivery.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $45.00-$81.54 per hour
