We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Static Security Guards to join our growing team in Hamilton. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of assigned properties
- Monitor and control site access, including visitor verification
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
- Complete detailed reports, daily occurrence logs, and incident documentation
- Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, visitors, and clients
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Minimum 3 years of security experience
- Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in shelters, supportive housing, or social service environments
- Use of Force Certification
- Valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable transportation
Position Details
- Location: Hamilton, Ontario
- Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available
- Schedule: Various shifts available, including weekends and holidays must be available to work combination of days and overnights.
