Ens Auto is looking for an experienced Automotive Glass Technician to join Ens Toyota and Lexus. The ideal candidate will have an autobody or automotive background and know how to repair, remove and replace autobody glass and mirrors.
This is a Permanent FULL-TIME position from Monday to Friday.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Read a work order.

Completing and submitting documents and remittances for insurance.

Installs and replaces windshields, windows, and mirrors on various types of vehicles.

Use precision tools and equipment to ensure accurate installations and a high-quality finish.

Assess the condition of the automotive glass and determine the appropriate repair or replacement process.

Remove damaged or broken glass.
-
Completing rock chip repair as needed.
-
Clean and prepare the installation area to ensure proper bonding and adhesive application.
-
Apply adhesive and sealant to secure the glass.
-
Ensure proper sealing and weatherproofing of all glass installations.
-
Test the installation for leaks, faults, and noise.
-
Provide exceptional customer service, explaining repair or installation processes, and maintenance of glass to clients as needed.

Ensure all finished products are up to standards.
-
Communicate with technicians when vehicles are ready.
-
Assisting other technicians when required.
-
All positions must complete quality control and check whether all components have been installed as per the work order.

Washing, waxing, shampooing, vacuuming, polishing, buffing, and cleaning customer vehicles as required.

Maintaining a safe, clean and organized workspace.
-
Performing work following quality standards and safety procedures.

Keeping cleaning supplies organized and labelled.

Maintain a positive attitude.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
-
2-3 years of experience in windshield repair or automotive glass installation.
-
Knowledgeable of automotive glass installation techniques with various vehicles.
-
I-CAR training.
-
Strong attention to detail and precision.
-
Ability to lift 50lbs.
-
Perform physical demands including - standing, crouching, bending, and leaning.
-
Effective communication skills.
-
Willingness to learn processes.
-
Able to complete tasks on tight deadlines.
-
Positive attitude.
-
Works well individually and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to drive a manual transmission is an asset.

Having your own tools is an asset.
-
Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's license is required.

Clean driving history.
-
