Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products and styling accessories to clients
- Assist at the front desk with appointment scheduling, check-ins, and payment processing
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative services
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a team based salon environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- High level understanding of effective consultation and communication
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in hair care
- Ability to upsell products and services in a professional manner
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain styling options clearly
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required
- A valid cosmetology license or certification
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best
Pay: $17.85-$50.00 per hour
