Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain dairy equipment on farms across the region
- Work independently while communicating within a team environment
- Continued training as needed: on the job, in the classroom, and through book-learning with manuals
- Responsibly drive, and schedule required maintenance on company service vehicle.
- Accurate tracking and care of inventory
- Will be required to take a turn with after-hours service schedule once adequately trained
- Other opportunities as the business needs grow
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent problem solving, trouble shooting, and critical thinking.
- Able to maintain a positive, professional attitude and work well under pressure
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Aptitude for understanding a variety of mechanical systems
- Able to work with minimal supervision, remote work.
- Drive to grow within the organization and keep current with new products and processes
- Mechanical Automotive, Robotics an asset
- Agriculture or dairy farm exposure is an asset.
