Position Overview:
Titan Contractors is seeking hardworking and reliable General Labourers to support our civil construction operations. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in physical, hands-on work and want to be part of a professional crew in our region. General Labourers assist with site preparation, material handling, cleanup, and a wide range of tasks under the direction of the Site Foreman or Superintendent to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general construction duties including loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with site preparation such as digging, raking, shoveling, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Operate hand tools and small equipment safely and as directed.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and provincial regulations.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in toolbox talks, hazard assessments and inspections.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment issues promptly to supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, including regular removal of waste and unused materials.
- Communicate clearly with the Site Foreman and team.
Qualifications:
· Previous construction or labour experience is preferred but not required
· Experience using basic construction tools is an asset
· Physically fit with ability to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
· Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
· Safety-focused mindset and willingness to learn
