Island Poke is a local poke restaurant located in Langford, serving fresh ingredients and creating a friendly, welcoming workplace for both our customers and staff. We are currently looking for a team member to join our Langford team.
Location: 111-829 Goldstream Ave, Langford
Hours: 25-35hr
Wage: $18.25 + Tips
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and serve poke bowls with consistency and high quality
- Prep vegetables and fish daily following food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and help place orders as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Dishwashing duties may be required depending on needs
Required Qualifications:
- Able to work opening, closing, and weekend shifts (required)
- Responsible, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to provide friendly customer service and create a positive guest experience
- Works well with others and contributes to a strong team culture
- Good communication skills with the ability to take initiative and lead when needed
- Can work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
