Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is vital in delivering a satisfying dining experience to our guests and supporting the overall operations of our restaurant.
Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure food safety and proper handling of ingredients at all times
- Serve breakfast dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and workstations
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred, especially in restaurant or kitchen settings
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during morning hours
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work
- Food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety standards
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
