Morris River Farms Ltd. is seeking an experienced Farmer / Farm Machinery Operator to join our grain and oilseed farming operation in Rosenort, Manitoba.
Job Details:
- Full-time, Term Position
- $29.45/hour, 45 hours/week
- Start: July 2026
- Schedule includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and seasonal hours as required
- On-site rural work environment
Responsibilities:
- Operate tractors, harvesters, trucks, and farm equipment
- Seed, cultivate, spray, harvest, and transport grain and oilseed crops
- Perform general farm duties and field operations
- Maintain farm machinery, equipment, buildings, and work areas
- Complete routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
- Follow farm safety procedures
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of grain farming and/or farm machinery operation experience
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must have own transportation
- English required; Low German considered an asset
- Ability to work outdoors in dusty, noisy, hot, and physically demanding conditions
- Reliable, organized, flexible, and team-oriented
