Overview
We are seeking a skilled Locator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately identifying and marking underground utilities and other critical infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of various tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work safely and efficiently in diverse environments. This role is based on a 28 day on 10 day off work schedule in Alberta. Per diem and overtime oppertunities are available.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of sites to ensure all utilities are marked accurately.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition, performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs as needed.
- Document findings and maintain accurate records of utility locations for future reference.
Requirements
- Valid class 5 license
- Familiarity with electrical systems and utility rigging practices is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in marking utilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
Wages: depending on experience
