Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the efficient progress of construction sites. Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Support skilled workers with tasks such as mixing concrete, digging trenches, and setting forms
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or skid steers (training provided)
- Help with paving activities, including spreading asphalt or other materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Assist in the installation of infrastructure components as directed by supervisors
- Follow safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents and injuries
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus and will be trained if necessary
- Experience with paving projects is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills related to construction processes and safety procedures
Pay: $16.50-$20.00 per hour
