Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Concrete Finishers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience finishing concrete in a residential setting, and be able to handle multiple units. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, with a team that works hard and cares about quality.
**MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND TRANSPORTATION TO JOB SITES LOCATED IN EDMONTON AND SURROUNDING AREAS
**MUST BE ABLE TO PULL BOARD AND RUN HOSE
**MUST BE ABLE TO POWER TROWEL AND HAND TROWEL
**PART TIME HOURS
Duties:
- Place concrete with crew starting with backing up the mixer to cleaning the tools once complete
- Utilize hand tools and power trowel to finish concrete to desired finish
- Assist with prep crew when needed
- Strip forms, collect lumber, rebar, and clean sites
- Cut, install and tie rebar, Engage in heavy lifting as required
- Wear all PPE and complete tasks in a safe manor
- Utilize carpentry skills to install form work when required
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience finishing concrete in the residential sector
- Ability to work with the team to complete all concrete related tasks
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt as weather changes
- Knowledge of different finishing techniques
- Capable of heavy lifting and physical work
- Carpentry skills that can be applied to concrete form installation
