Machine Operator
Gentell is one of the largest vertically-integrated wound care companies in the world. We provide efficient, affordable, patient-specific wound treatments to patients in nursing homes, hospices, hospitals and other settings. We employ clinical specialists throughout the United States and Canada to assist with treatment recommendations and provide education about the proper utilization of wound care products.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machines in a manufacturing environment
- Set up machines according to specifications and blueprints - Confirm and verify product code(s), lot number(s) and quantities for production run based on the production schedule
- Check and verify that the correct raw materials and packaging materials for the type of product manufactured supplied based on the Bill of Materials - Manufacture the product according to product specification and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or production processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with the training of new Operators
Skills:
- Minimum of two (2) years Machine Operator experience
- Mechanical aptitude to understand machine components and functions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for machine setup
- Fluent English written and verbal ability
- High School completion a must
As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to troubleshoot will contribute to the production of high-quality products.
