Duties
- Act as the main liaison between patients and the dental team, explaining treatment options clearly and confidently
- Schedule appointments efficiently using Dentrix practice management software
- Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with financial arrangements to ensure smooth treatment processes
- Manage multi-line phone systems, respond promptly to inquiries, and provide outstanding front desk support
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
- Coordinate with dental providers to confirm treatment plans and follow-up appointments
- Handle administrative tasks such as processing payments, managing patient correspondence, and maintaining office organization
Experience
- Previous experience working as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is essential; experience with Epic is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and general healthcare
- Proven ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently in a busy office environment
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and medical office procedures is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills combined with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Demonstrated ability to handle administrative responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail
