Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and fluid top-offs, while providing excellent customer service. Duties
- Perform oil changes, fluid replacements, and filter replacements efficiently and accurately
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance tasks
- Assist with additional maintenance or repair services as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Promote additional maintenance or repair services when appropriate
- Follow safety protocols at all times during vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or mechanic experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive systems
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Basic sales skills to recommend additional services to customers
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
