What’s the Job?
As a Housekeeper, reporting to the Property Manager, you will ensure the overall cleanliness of the property to the highest level.
Your work will include:
- Cleaning 15 rooms per day and may vary depending on occupancy.
- Full housekeeping services in guest rooms and hallways.
- Making the beds and changing linen.
- Vacuuming and dusting.
- Washing, scrubbing and sanitizing bathrooms, windows and mirrors.
- Emptying garbage.
- Washing and folding towels, linens, and beddings.
- Loading and unloading laundry, linen, and supplies.
Who are we looking for?
- You have a minimum 6 months’ janitorial and/or housekeeping experience.
- You have knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment.
- Ideally, you have related experience in hotel/institutional environment; commercial cleaning is considered an asset.
- You have the ability and desire to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player.
- You are able to stand for a long period of time and lift up to 35 pounds
Weekend pay @ $18/hour
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
