CSN 427 Auto Collision is looking for an Auto Body Prepper to join our team. The Auto Body Prepper will prep surfaces for the automotive painter and apply the appropriate masking techniques to ensure a seamless paint finish.
Major areas of responsibility
· Ability to review repair orders and perform the job as efficiently as possible.
· Ability and willingness to follow standardized production processes.
· Masking vehicles prior to and following the paint process.
· Assist in surface element removal on panels, parts, etc.
· Ability to surface prep for items needed to paint
· Assisting Automotive Painters with maintenance of spray booths.
· Upon completion of an assigned job, approaches the Foreman to inspect the job.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Experience working in body shop – 1+ years preferred
· Registered Apprentice
