We have a client looking for hands-on CNC Field Service Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machines at customer sites across Ontario. This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and supporting customers on site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and service CNC mills, lathes, 5 axis machines verticals, laser cutters and rotary equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, alignments, and calibrations
- Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
- Complete service reports and documentation
- Travel to customer sites
Requirements:
- Experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or electromechanical repair
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (drives, motors, controls, sensors, PLCs)
- Mechanical aptitude (hydraulics & pneumatics)
- Ability to work independently with strong customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have:
- CNC machining or programming experience
- Experience servicing CNC machine tools
- Familiarity with Haas controls
- Technical diploma (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related)
