Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team, specializing in installation, service, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for accurate installation and repairs
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems as needed
- Utilize welding skills for system repairs or modifications when required
- Work with boilers, appliances, and other mechanical components associated with HVAC systems
- Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, service, or maintenance roles
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, appliances, plumbing, and construction processes
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Welding skills are a plus; experience with boiler systems or appliance repair is desirable
- Construction experience or mechanic background is advantageous
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to HVAC work environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings
