The Edmonton Police Service is presently seeking one (1) individual to perform the duties of an Administrative Clerk in the Forensic Services Section, Criminal History Unit. The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Qualifications:

Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade including business subjects with emphasis on general office practices or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college;

A minimum of two (2) years’ diversified experience in general office practices and procedures including assisting in the instruction of less experienced staff.

The ability to process a large volume of work with a high degree of accuracy.

Working knowledge of EPROS, EMUGS, CPIC, JOIN, ORCA and iNetviewer would be considered an asset.

Working knowledge of the Criminal Code and the Identification of Criminals Act would be considered an asset.

Working knowledge of Idemia AFIS systems would be considered an asset.

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Effective time management and communications skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant time demands while having great attention to detail.

Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, between 0730 - 1600 hours, Monday - Friday.
Salary Range: 21B, Salary Grade: 007, $25.17- $31.25 (Hourly); $2,013.90-$2,500.50 (Bi-Weekly); $52,563.31- $65,262.53 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
