Kent’s Towing is a locally owned and operated company servicing the Thunder Bay region and Northwestern Ontario. With a large client base of multiple accounts and contracts we provide services ranging from light duty to heavy duty towing, roadside assistance, police impounds, accident/recovery jobs, flatbed towing, freight/equipment transportation, and more. It makes for everyday to be something new with new challenges and new experiences.
We are a busy towing service provider that operates 24/7 365 days a year. We are looking for an experienced heavy tow operator with a valid DZ/AZ or Class 3/1 with air endorsement license and 2 flat bed tow truck operators with valid G/DZ/AZ license. Experienced preferred but not required as willing to train the right candidates.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Honest, Reliable, & present self in professional manner at all times
- Making sure truck is in good working condition and clean inside and out & greased
- Quality customer service skills
- Follow all safety regulations (Road & workplace)
- Communicating with dispatch via call/text
- Punctual for all scheduled shifts
- Daily legible run sheets and inspection forms
- Ability to work independently and outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to work under pressure and think outside the box to get a job done
Requirements:
- Clean drivers abstract
- MUST be able to obtain an Ontario Tow Driver Certificate
- Willing to be on call for scheduled On Call shifts
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Positive attitude & teamwork skills
- Safety conscious
- Occasionally on call weekends and nights
