Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Manager to oversee and coordinate our established Roofing department. Projects include new construction single & multifamily, residential re-roofing and service repairs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of sloped asphalt shingle installation, and proficiency with estimating & customer service. This role involves managing sub-contracting crews as well as service techs, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining project timelines and budgets to deliver exceptional roofing solutions for our clients. The Roofing Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality craftsmanship across all projects.
Duties
- Lead and supervise roofing crews to ensure project deadlines are met on time and within scope
- Visit jobsites around the greater Calgary area daily. Physically get on the roofs & be hands on with installers & products.
- Develop detailed execution plans for installs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project execution
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and construction specifications
- Manage project budgets, perform construction estimating, and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment necessary for roofing projects
- Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking using our inhouse digital tools
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all job sites
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project flow
- Proven supervising experience in roofing or general construction management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in planning and execution
- Knowledge of safety protocols specific to roofing and construction sites
- Construction industry certifications or relevant training preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead impactful roofing projects while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
