Junction 56 Distillery is looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Associate to join our team for occasional weekend shifts in our distillery retail store.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting new people, hosting tastings, and working in a fun atmosphere. You’ll help visitors discover our craft spirits while assisting with tastings, tours, and occasional events hosted at the distillery.
Responsibilities Include:
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the distillery
- Provide product recommendations and share knowledge about our spirits
- Host or assist with spirit tastings for visitors
- Help with onsite events such as cocktail classes, tastings, and special events
- Process retail sales using the POS system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail store
- Restock spirits and merchandise as needed
- Help prepare the store and tasting area for events or busy periods.
Required Skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable speaking to small groups during tastings
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work weekends when events are scheduled
- Interest in craft spirits, cocktails, or hospitality is an assetFriendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Smart Serve required (can be obtained)
Experience in retail, hospitality, restaurants, tourism, or events is helpful but not required. Training on our products and tastings will be provided.
