Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) Application Analyst – Remote

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) Application Analyst to join a large healthcare technology initiative. This is a 100% remote opportunity supporting a leading healthcare organization. The initial contract is for 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Epic Resolute Professional Billing, including application build, configuration, optimization, production support, and revenue cycle workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Active Epic Resolute Professional Billing (RPB) Certification (Required)
- 3+ years of experience supporting Epic Resolute Professional Billing
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes and professional billing workflows
- Experience supporting production environments, upgrades, and application enhancements
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, maintain, and optimize the Epic Resolute Professional Billing application.
- Build and support Professional Billing workflows, including charge capture, claim processing, reimbursement, payment posting, and collections.
- Configure workqueues, billing edits, rules, reports, and revenue cycle workflows.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Epic application configuration and system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, revenue cycle teams, project managers, and technical teams to support ongoing optimization initiatives.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing activities, and new feature implementations.
- Support application documentation, workflow improvements, and change management activities.
- Assist with Functional Testing, Integrated Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production validation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Epic Hospital Billing (HB) or additional Epic Revenue Cycle modules is a plus.
- Experience working within large healthcare organizations or integrated delivery networks.
- Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, SQL, Reporting Workbench, Clarity, or Caboodle.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
