Barber-OS is an all-in-one operating system built specifically for barbershops. We help barbershop owners modernize and grow their businesses by simplifying operations, reducing no-shows, increasing revenue, and creating a better client experience.
As one of the fastest-growing barber-focused software platforms in North America, we’re looking for a driven, consultative Software Sales Specialist who understands how to build relationships, uncover business pain points, and help shop owners see the value of technology built specifically for them.
We’re seeking a driven Software Sales Specialist to help barbershops across Canada and the U.S. modernize their businesses with Barber-OS. You’ll lead the full sales cycle—building pipeline, uncovering client pain points, running tailored demos, and closing deals—before handing off smoothly to our onboarding team.
If you thrive in consultative sales, enjoy helping small businesses adopt software that makes a measurable impact, and want to grow with a fast-moving tech company, we’d love to connect.
This is a full-time role based at Barber-OS headquarters in Calgary, where you’ll join a supportive, performance-driven team.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. MT with flexibility to run demos across different time zones (ET–PT). Occasional travel for trade shows/expos.
What You’ll Do (selling Barber-OS)
- Pipeline & prospecting: Build and manage a targeted barber pipeline (outbound + inbound), segment by shop size/multi-location, and keep CRM spotless.
- Discovery: Uncover potential clients workflow gaps (booking, no-shows, chair utilization, payments, client comms, inventory) and quantify pain into ROI.
- Tailored demos: Run tight, outcomes-driven demos of Barber-OS (booking flow, calendar, client reminders/marketing, team management, payments/POS integrations, basic reporting).
- Business cases & proposals: Package pricing/options, handle objections (data migration, payments, training), and drive clear next steps to close.
- Close & handoff: Secure e-sign + initial payment; create a clean implementation brief for onboarding/CSM.
- Territory rhythm: Hit weekly demo & new sign-up targets; forecast accurately; partner with marketing on U.S. campaigns/events.
- Market feedback: Capture product feedback from prospects and present to the development team.
- Events: Support select trade shows/expos; generate and follow up on leads.
What You Bring
- 2–3+ years full-cycle SaaS or Payment-Processing sales with consistent quota attainment.
- Strong discovery & virtual demo skills; consultative, value-first approach; clear written & verbal communication.
- CRM discipline, excellent pipeline hygiene and forecasting.
- Comfort selling across different time zones; willing to travel 10–20% for events.
- French is an asset (not required).
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base + uncapped commission (OTE aligned to experience and market).
- Benefits after probation (health/dental/vision), PTO, employee discounts.
- Laptop and tools provided; phone/internet stipend as applicable.
- Training, clear growth paths, and a supportive, performance-driven culture.
