Maintenance Assistant (Temporary to Permanent)
About Our Client
Our client is a manufacturing plant of metal components for so many things we use daily – tractors, cars, machines, forklifts etc. They are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow in the warehouse that does metal cutting, forming, welding and assembly – but you would be working with our manufacturing team because you have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience!
What You Will Be Doing, as a Maintenance Assistant:
- Clean and maintain indoor and outdoor areas of a building (rrestrooms, lobby and hallway floors, windows and grounds)
- These duties might include mopping and waxing floors, washing windows, clipping shrubs and painting exterior or interior walls and structures as needed.
- Hand tools will be required
- Other duties as assigned
What You Should Have, as a Maintenance Assistant:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience
- Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs
- must have a mechanical background
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $20.00 hourly
- Paid weekly, every Friday
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- Days
- 7:00am to 3:30pm
Where You Will Be Working, as a Maintenance Assistant:
- Woodstock, ON
