Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable AP Art History, World History, US History, European History Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students succeed in their academic pursuits, particularly in preparing for standardized tests.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions focused on test preparation strategies and content review.
- Assess students’ strengths and weaknesses to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Develop personalized study plans and materials to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to students and parents on performance improvements.
- Conduct practice tests to familiarize students with test formats and timing.
- Stay updated on the latest test formats, content changes, and educational resources.
Experience
- At least 2 years of AP teaching experiences is required.
- Experience working with children or adolescents is essential for understanding their unique learning needs.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills such as Mandarin, Spanish, French, or Japanese are advantageous.
- Strong writing skills to assist students in developing effective written communication for essays and other assignments.
