Job Summary
Dentology Dental Office located in the Burlington mall is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic dental assistant to join our team as a level 2 certified dental assistant. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. Knowledge of the program Tracker and how to treatment plan would be an asset, but not mandatory requirement. Experience in various dental specialties and possess knowledge of dental office procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Prepare patients for dental work by taking their medical history and ensuring their comfort
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on proper oral healthcare
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Perform office duties such as scheduling appointments and processing x-rays
Experience
- Prior experience is preferred
- Knowledge of dental software such as Tracker is a plus
- Familiarity with dental terminology is beneficial
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist would be advantageous
