Forte Fitness Equipment is a Western Canada commercial fitness equipment dealer representing Precor, Peloton Commercial, HOIST, Torque, and Powertec. We supply and install equipment for hospitality, oil and gas camps, multifamily residential, correctional facilities, municipal recreation, education, and government clients across Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.
We hold exclusive dealer rights for Precor and Peloton Commercial in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The rep in this role is the only authorized source for two of the most recognized brands in commercial fitness across both provinces.

The Opportunity
We are hiring a Territory Sales Representative to develop Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The territory currently has limited active coverage, and the verticals we sell into — recreation centres, workforce camps, hotels, multifamily developments, municipal facilities, education, and corrections — are actively investing in fitness infrastructure.
You'll have the exclusivity on Precor and Peloton Commercial working in your favour from day one. The product training, proposal infrastructure, and Edmonton-based support are in place. Your job is to open the territory and build the pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Develop the Manitoba and Saskatchewan territory across hospitality, workforce housing, multifamily, municipal recreation, education, and corrections.
- Prospect target accounts through cold outreach, networking, LinkedIn, industry events, and on-site visits.
- Conduct in-person and virtual needs assessments with facility directors, procurement managers, and operations leads.
- Build proposals and quotes in Quotient with specification and pricing support from the Edmonton team.
- Respond to RFP and RFQ opportunities for institutional and government clients with submission support from Edmonton.
- Manage your pipeline in HubSpot — every prospect logged, every interaction documented, every deal tracked to close.
- Plan and execute road days across the territory with defined target lists and same-day debriefs.
- Coordinate with the Edmonton team on order processing, delivery, installation, and post-sale support.
- Stay current on the Forte product line — Precor, Peloton Commercial, HOIST, Torque, Powertec — including specs, competitive positioning, and warranty terms.
- Provide weekly pipeline updates covering active deals, new prospects, and market intelligence.
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- 2 to 4 years of field, territory, or B2B sales experience.
- Genuine interest in the commercial fitness industry — you understand the product, the clients, and the environment.
- Self-managed pipeline discipline. You track your own activity, follow up without being reminded, and move deals forward independently.
- Comfort with cold outreach. A meaningful portion of this role is opening relationships with businesses that aren't expecting your call.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
- Strong written and verbal communication. You'll be writing proposals, responding to RFPs, and presenting to procurement committees.
Nice to Have
- Existing contacts in commercial fitness, hospitality, recreation, oil and gas, or institutional sectors in MB or SK.
- HubSpot or comparable CRM experience.
- Familiarity with institutional or government procurement.
- Background in fitness facility management, personal training, or gym operations.
- Knowledge of commercial fitness equipment brands and specifications.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $40,000–$45,000 depending on experience.
- Commission: Paid on closed deals. Rate, threshold, and payment timing discussed in the first interview.
- On-target earnings: $55,000–$65,000 in year one with territory development milestones met. $70,000–$85,000 in year two as the pipeline matures.
- Mileage: Reimbursed at standard rate for all territory travel.
