The Nova Thera Wellness is a purpose-built, 4,030 sq ft integrated medical aesthetics and wellness destination in Woodbridge, Ontario. We combine evidence-based regulated healthcare with advanced biohacking technologies, medical aesthetics, IV therapy, diagnostic services, and longevity programs under one roof — serving clients who prioritize preventative care, optimization, and long-term vitality.
Role Overview
As our Registered Massage Therapist, you will deliver therapeutic, rehabilitative, and wellness massage services within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. You will work alongside chiropractors, acupuncturists, naturopathic doctors, and wellness practitioners to provide integrated care plans that support each client's health and recovery goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Services
- Conduct thorough client assessments: health history, postural analysis, and treatment planning
- Deliver a range of massage modalities: Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the broader clinical team
- Provide homecare recommendations including stretching, hydrotherapy, and self-care protocols
- Administer treatments for musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, stress and anxiety, headaches, and postoperative recovery
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely SOAP note documentation in Jane App EMR after every client session
- Adhere to all CMTO (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario) standards and professional practice guidelines
- Maintain client confidentiality in compliance with PIPEDA
- Ensure treatment room is clean, sanitized, and properly set up before each session
Client Experience & Collaboration
- Create a professional, calming, and welcoming environment for every client
- Educate clients on treatment outcomes and expected results in plain, accessible language
- Collaborate with chiropractors, acupuncturists, and other practitioners on integrated care plans
- Participate in monthly clinical team briefings and protocol review sessions
Qualifications
Required
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Completion of a recognized 2,200-hour Registered Massage Therapy diploma program
- Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial)
- Current CPR/AED certification (Basic Life Support level minimum)
- Clear criminal background check
Preferred (Strong Asset)
- Experience in a multidisciplinary or integrative health clinic setting
- Additional training in: hot stone, cupping, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, or sports massage
- Comfort with EMR systems; experience with Jane App is a strong asset
- Interest in integrative health, functional medicine, or longevity wellness
- Bilingual (English + French, Arabic, or Punjabi) is an advantage given local community demographics
Pay: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
