Overview
Our client is an aesthetic academy that provides credible education on injectable treatments such as dermal filler and PRP. The organization offering a self-paced online training program for nurse injectors that requires execution.
We are hiring a hands-on Marketing & Content Manager to own growth from end to end: content creation (with face / faceless), promotion, lead generation, and affiliate/commission partner management to drive course success in sales.
This role is ideal for a creative professional with a strong background in e-commerce, proven sales, and content management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing digital content, managing a team of marketing and analyzing performance metrics to drive brand growth and engagement.
The Specifics:
Content Creation & Design
- Use design tools and creativity to research and create content to drive traffic to social media platforms and the landing page, while also using ManyChat to gather leads
- Build, maintain, and continuously optimize our online course platform and landing pages (copy, layout, conversion elements, A/B testing)
- Edit graphics for social media and email marketing
- Film and edit short-form and long-form video content (course previews, testimonials, behind-the-scenes, educational clips) some in coordination with the instructor of the academy with ideas provided already and some independently produced
- Edit previously filmed content to execute ideas
- Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies aligned with business goals across various platforms.
- Oversee email marketing campaigns, including design, segmentation, and performance analysis.
- Conduct market research to identify trends in digital marketing and e-commerce to inform strategic decisions.
Distribution & Social Media
- Post and manage content across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn as relevant) on a consistent daily/weekly cadence
- Adapt content format and messaging per platform rather than cross-posting identically
- Monitor performance and double down on what's converting
Lead Generation & Sales
- Run opportunity for DM conversations with prospective students to answer questions, handle objections, and convert leads to sales
- Build and manage email marketing campaigns (nurture sequences, promotions, cart-abandonment, launch sequences)
- Track and report on funnel performance: traffic → leads → conversions → revenue. Must have experience with funnels and driving traffic to generate sales targets
Affiliate / Commission-Based Promoter Program
- Recruit, onboard, and manage commission-based providers/influencers/affiliates who promote the course
- Provide them with promotional assets, tracking links, and clear commission terms
- Monitor affiliate performance and maintain relationships with top performers
Additional responsibilities we'd expect this role to grow into:
- Building and maintaining a content calendar across all channels
- Community management (comments, DMs, engagement) to build trust ahead of launches
- Coordinating and scheduling video/photo shoots to brainstorm, film and create content
- Staying current on relevant advertising standards for regulated health professionals (e.g., appropriate use of testimonials, before/after content, and outcome claims), working with the instructor to ensure all marketing stays compliant
Requirements
- Proven experience running content + growth for a course or online offer with a track record of consistent sales with engagement
- Comfortable using AI tools for design and content production
- Well-versed knowledge of Squarespace, Circle and Social Media platforms
- Creative in video filming and editing skills (phone-first content is fine; polish matters more than gear). Must be comfortable being on camera though some content can be faceless
- Strong copywriting instincts for email and social
- Experience managing a team is preferred
- Based in or familiar with the Ontario aesthetics/medical spa industry is a plus
- Genuine interest in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and aesthetic treatments is a must, since you'll need to speak credibly to this audience
- A nursing background is a strong plus with marketing and sales education preferred
- Proven experience in digital marketing, content management, or related roles within e-commerce environments.
- Proficiency in HTML coding basics and graphic design skills.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or similar tools.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and strategies for increasing engagement.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to target audiences.
- Ability to analyze data insights to inform marketing strategies and improve campaign performance.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling and branding consistency.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines and meeting sales targets
Compensation Bonus:
Clear path to increased scope and compensation as the business scales, including potential for additional commission structures tied directly to the sales contribution. The course is a high-ticket sale.
This is predominately a remote role though may require on-site filming as needed in areas surrounding the GTA
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
