Job Description: Tutor
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects
- Assess students' academic needs and develop personalized learning plans
- Help students improve their study skills and develop effective learning strategies
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Physics, English, Math, etc.)
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject(s) being taught
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and the ability to work well with students of different ages and abilities
- Reliable transportation (if providing in-person tutoring)
- Ability to pass a background check
