Job Summary
Radisson Hotel and Conference Calgary Airport is looking for energetic individual for the position of Front Desk Supervisor contribute to the overall success of the Hotel by leading and maintaining Guest Services standards for the front office, by anticipating guest needs and providing friendly, efficient, and superior customer service during all guest interactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises front desk operations and handles administrative duties such as, performing check-in and check-out of guests, handling guest concerns, assisting with the arrivals and departures of groups and tours, and storing luggage.
- Reviews daily arrivals list and checks VIP notes and other special guest requests. Monitors the quality of work and provides feedback on the degree to which operational standards are met.
- Flexible with morning and evening shifts.
- Communicates goals to others, including team members, other Leaders, etc.
- Reviews departmental plan and performance on a quarterly basis to identify areas for improvement that would contribute to enhanced business performance and to identify opportunities that would support business growth.
- Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service and experience.
- Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution, and follows through when resolving guest problems.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
- You must be able to work well in a team environment and be self-directed.
- You must be comfortable speaking to all levels of leadership and guests and assisting with solving problems using creative solutions.
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative innovator and leader who thrives under pressure and can perform multiple functions.
- Computer literacy is imperative including applications in Opera, WINPM, WINSAM IRIS, Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and Internet.
- Self-motivation and organizational skills with the initiative and the proven ability to work well under pressure.
- A Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Administration from a recognized institute would be an asset.
