Job Overview
We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Concrete Labourer to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of concrete construction activities including site preparation, placement, finishing support, and general labour duties on commercial and industrial projects. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work, working with a team, and building hands-on experience in the concrete industry within the Edmonton area.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist crews with concrete placement, grading, and finishing activities.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning, setting up tools, and organizing materials.
- Support formwork installation and removal.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with site safety procedures.
- Assist with demolition, cutting, coring, or general construction labour tasks as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and skilled tradespeople.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions common to the Edmonton region.
Qualifications
- Previous construction or concrete experience considered an asset but not required.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable transportation to job sites within the Edmonton area.
- Valid safety tickets (CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid) are considered an asset.
Ability to work well in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
