Delivery and Installation Technician – Fitness Equipment
LIVunLtd is seeking a reliable and physically capable Delivery and Installation Technician to join our team in Mississauga. In this hands on role, you will deliver, assemble, install and test fitness equipment in residential and commercial environments, ranging from single-unit deliveries to full facility installations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in quality installations, and values safety and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles (5 ton trucks, vans, etc.) in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road.
- Deliver and Install Fitness equipment in residential or commercial facilities. Installations can range from a single unit to a full facility.
- Lift and move equipment. Ability to lift 100+ pounds floor to dolly and back (motion could be repeated upwards of 10+ times daily).
- Carry heavy items long distances up and down stairs where required.
- Assemble product according to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Functional test all equipment to ensure proper and safe function of machines post install. Record and report any deficiencies.
- Remove all packaging from the installation site and ensure the site is clean and tidy before departing.
- Record all necessary paperwork. This may include daily logs, vehicle inspections and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on all installation sites and have a working knowledge of any local construction site safety protocols.
- Occasional travel required including periodic overnights
