At Good Folk, we believe great food starts with great people. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences in one of Banff's most exciting restaurant environments.
This role is ideal for an experienced line cook or junior sous chef ready to take the next step in their culinary career. As a Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of your station, maintain high culinary standards, and contribute to a collaborative, professional kitchen culture.
What You'll Do
- Manage and execute service from your assigned station
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and presentation standards
- Assist with daily prep and production
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Monitor product quality and consistency throughout service
- Support the training and development of junior kitchen team members
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, Victor Bonilla to ensure smooth operations
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or similar role
- Strong culinary skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods
- Passion for quality ingredients and professional cooking
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Positive attitude and a team-first approach
