Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist dentists during various procedures including orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology if certified
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software
- Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
- Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns throughout their visit
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with safety standards
Qualifications
- Certification or training in Dental Assisting from an accredited program advantageous
- Proficiency with dental software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is advantageous
- Experience with CADI imaging technology is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Professional attitude with attention to detail and excellent patient service skills
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
