Position Overview
The Meat Cutter is responsible for preparing, cutting, and packaging a variety of meat products while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cutting, trimming, and wrapping meat to company standards
- Sausage stuffing and preparation
- Making burger patties and other value-added products
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient customer service
- Ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are followed
Qualifications:
- Meat Cutting Certificate or minimum of 3 years’ experience required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Food Safety Certificate considered an asset
