Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of hospitality and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable visit.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about menu items.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Must be comfortable making your own drinks and have some bar experience or knowledge.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed throughout the shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with Lightspeed POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Must be able to prepare basic alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and have knowledge of bar operations.
