Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and dependable Chauffeur to provide safe, reliable transportation services to clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a professional demeanor, and the ability to adapt to varying schedules. This role involves transporting clients to various destinations on Vancouver Island, while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles such as luxury sedans, SUVs, or vans to transport clients
- Ensure the safety of passengers by adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading heavy luggage or packages as needed
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and proper functioning of the vehicle, including regular inspections and basic maintenance tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by being punctual, courteous, and attentive to passenger needs
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pick-up times, routes, and any delays or issues during transit
- Keep accurate records of trips
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum class 4R)
- Proven experience in commercial driving or chauffeur services preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and navigation tools
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions and at night
- Reliable transportation for commuting to work shifts and assignments
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
