Market Representative Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable market vendor to represent our brand at the local markets. This role involves engaging with customers, promoting our products, and providing excellent service to enhance brand visibility and sales. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, communicative, and passionate about community engagement. Responsibilities
- Attending the regular Saturday Duncan farmers' market, as well as attending other one-off markets as required
- Set up and break down market booth displays in an organized and appealing manner
- Engage with customers to promote products through friendly conversation and product demos
- Provide detailed information about products, including ingredients, benefits, and usage suggestions
- Conduct product tastings or demonstrations to attract customer interest
- Assist in sales transactions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Collect customer feedback and answer questions effectively
- Promote brand awareness through public speaking and engaging communication
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the booth area throughout the event
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or marketing is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in public settings
- Customer service experience demonstrating friendliness, patience, and professionalism
