Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, passionate, and customer-focused Esthetician to join our salon team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to providing clients with a welcoming and professional experience.
Any experience with gel and acrylic nail services is a strong asset (not required). Applicants without experience are still encouraged to apply, as training can be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional esthetic and beauty services based on each client’s individual needs.
- Consult with clients and recommend suitable treatments, products, and services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up communication.
- Recommend and upsell appropriate products and services to enhance the client experience.
- Assist at the front desk when needed, including scheduling appointments and responding to client inquiries.
- Maintain accurate client service notes and records when required.
- Stay informed about current skincare, beauty, and nail-service trends.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain a friendly and professional salon environment.
Requirements
- Previous customer-service or guest-service experience in a salon, spa, or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to maintain proper cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Any experience with gel and acrylic nail services is a strong asset (not required).
- Experience with manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, nail art, or other beauty services is an asset (not required).
- Relevant esthetics, nail technician, or beauty-related licences and certificates are an asset (not required).
- Training may be provided for applicants who do not have experience with gel or acrylic nail services.
