Job Summary
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading and managing all housekeeping operations for the Home2 Suites by Hilton Barrie. This role ensures exceptional cleanliness, guest satisfaction, brand compliance, and efficient department operations throughout the hotel. The Executive Housekeeper will oversee housekeeping team members, laundry operations, inventory control, scheduling, training, and quality assurance while maintaining Hilton brand standards and a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Ensure all guestrooms and public areas meet or exceed Hilton and Home2
- Suites brand cleanliness standards.
- Recruit, train, coach, supervise, and motivate housekeeping team members.
- Prepare daily room assignments and staff schedules based on occupancy and business levels.
- Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms, public areas, and laundry facilities to ensure quality and consistency.
- Manage departmental inventory, including linens, guest supplies, cleaning products, and equipment.
- Maintain departmental labor and supply costs within budget guidelines.
- Work closely with the Front Office and Maintenance departments to ensure guest requests and maintenance issues are resolved promptly.
- Respond professionally and efficiently to guest concerns or special requests.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and WHMIS standards.
- Assist with housekeeping duties when necessary to support operational needs.
- Monitor productivity and ensure proper staffing levels are maintained.
- Complete payroll, scheduling, inventory, and other administrative duties as required.
- Participate in hotel leadership meetings and support overall hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel environment preferred.
- Previous Hilton brand experience considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, laundry operations, and safety standards.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties as required.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
