Algonquin Outfitters is actively looking for Full and Part-Time Bike Mechanics to join our team at our Huntsville location.
As one of AO’s Bike Mechanics, you’ll play a key role on our team by ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional experience. You’ll bring your expertise to our full-service bike repair shop and retail operations, performing a wide range of tasks to keep our customers confidently on the road or trail.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble new retail bikes and prepare them for sale.
- Inspect, diagnose, and complete customer repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Disassemble and reassemble bikes, replacing or upgrading parts as needed.
- Provide helpful, knowledgeable service and advice to customers.
- Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming, customer-focused environment.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience as a Bike Mechanic or Shop Technician.
- Strong technical knowledge and mechanical problem-solving ability.
- A passion for cycling and outdoor adventure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, weekends, and some evenings.
