On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Senior-Java for a 5 month contract role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.
Software Developer - Senior-Java - Job Description:
This role involves working on critical projects related to Oracle E-Business application customizations. The candidate will be engaged in developing and enhancing large-scale multi-client web applications, specifically focusing on Java development integrated with Oracle or SQL databases.
Software Developer - Senior-Java - Responsibilities:
- Design and develop large-scale multi-client web applications
- Customize Oracle E-Business applications
- Develop and maintain Java applications with Oracle or SQL database integration
- Implement and manage RESTful WebServices and RestAPI
- Ensure security protocols are followed, including JWT, Oauth2.0, and SSL Certificates
Software Developer - Senior-Java - Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer in large-scale multi-client web applications
- 10+ years of hands-on Java development with Oracle or SQL database
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with RestAPI, RESTful WebServices
- Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, Oauth2.0, SSL Certificates)
- Familiarity with OPS Development standards and processes
Software Developer - Senior-Java – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with government or public sector projects
- Exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite and integration technologies
Software Developer - Senior-Java – Assignment Length:
This is a 5 month contract position.
